I've been recently thinking about the 'Allegory of the Cave' again.

"All we perceive are imperfect reflections of the ultimate forms, which subsequently represent truth and reality. In his story, Plato establishes a cave in which prisoners are chained down and forced to look upon the front wall of the cave- and become inherently mistaken as to what is reality."

Two things that astonishes me; how often I get surprised and bewildered by my own blindness and how much I'm trying to cope those newfound awareness into my own previous knowledge and understanding. It's terror of knowing that my perception of the world, the set of reality I'm living in, is a vision that is new, fragile, and inexperienced than anything.

"Hey Ken, how's all? I guess you're either on your way or here already. College is once more upon us, gone are the days of summer isn't it?"

"Even if I'm here, it always feel like I'm on a journey. So what difference does it make. It seems like this endless traveling is our unavoidable fate and I don't doubt you feel the same way. Gone are the days of summer but not the ones who've gone through."
