Grandparent's Stockbooks

I've been going over my old stuffs in boxes that were sealed before moving to Canada.

Looking over these three stock books were pretty interesting- I didn't notice when

I first got it, but these books not only preserved stamps but history and culture of nations.

When I see my grandparents again, I need to find out which one of them started it 

and why they let me have these outstanding collections. 

These stamps taught me the acronym, CCCP (Союз Советских Социалистических Республик),

ahead of the English one, USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics).

The face of Lenin and overall 'redness' are quiet unsettling.

Would have comrades in 1978 foreseen the collapse in 1991?

Red star in green background. I can't really think of anything else other than Heineken..

On the one next to it, I can see the coat of arms of East Germany and the Fernsehturm Berlin.
