I watched the redux version of Apocalypse Now (1979) again.

The last time I watched it was only back in 2011, but something felt definitely different this time. I could see things that I wasn't able to see in the past and was somewhat able to share the visions of Coppola more closely and naturally.

The opening scene with whirling sounds of choppers and the track by the Doors is simply dazzling every time I see it.
